The ICANN87 Fellowship is widely recognized as a fully funded opportunity, offering:

Participants are also exposed to real-world policy development processes and are encouraged to contribute to ICANN’s global community even after completing the program.

Eligibility:

To qualify for the ICANN87 Fellowship, applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Demonstrate interest or involvement in:
  • Internet governance
  • Domain Name System (DNS)
  • Digital policy or cybersecurity
• Be willing to:
  • Participate in all fellowship activities
  • Attend the ICANN Public Meeting
  • Complete required ICANN Learn courses
• Show motivation to contribute to ICANN’s multistakeholder model

Applicants should also not be currently engaged in conflicting ICANN-supported travel programs.

This fellowship allows selected participants to:

• Receive mentorship from experienced professionals
• Gain deep insight into how global Internet systems are coordinated
• Build international networks with experts, policymakers, and stakeholders

ICANN plays a critical role in coordinating unique Internet identifiers globally, ensuring the Internet remains stable, secure, and unified.
