Travel Allowance: A country-specific allowance is provided for round-trip travel (excluding Western Europe).
Insurance Coverage: Includes health, accident, and personal liability insurance throughout the duration of the course.
No Tuition Fees: The course fee is usually waived for scholarship holders.
Eligibility:
Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at a recognized university outside Germany.
Have completed at least two academic years by the start of the funded course.
Be at least 18 years old at the time the program begins.
Have not received a DAAD winter/summer course scholarship within the last two years (i.e., since 2021).
Possess basic German language skills (minimum A2 level).
Be able to understand lectures and participate in group discussions conducted in German.
Provide a language certificate (e.g., TestDaF, Goethe-Zertifikat, telc, onSET-Deutsch, DSH, ÖSD), valid and issued no more than 1 year ago (except for B2/TDN4+ certificates which may be older).
